How your support helps
There are a number of ways you can help Missing People be a lifeline - whether you support vulnerable missing children, or wish to help their loved ones left behind - your donation will always be put to the best possible use.
You can choose to donate towards our work in general, or you can opt to give support to a specific project - some examples of what you can help us achieve are below:
Finding vulnerable missing children and adults
£10,000 would fund 100 publicity appeals for missing children and adults; helping us to gather vital information from the public and potentially reaching the missing person to encourage them to make contact.
Providing emotional support for families missing a loved one
£20,000 could fund emotional and practical support for twenty families with a missing loved one for an entire year.
Supporting adults returned from missing
£35,000 could fund an Adult Crisis Worker to ensure that adults returned from missing are provided with the support they need when they return.
Children and Young People
Caring for missing and vulnerable children through our live chat service
£50,000 could fund two Crisis Workers to provide support 24/7 on our live chat service during peak hours for vulnerable children and young people.
Keep a Crisis Desk running for a year
£70,000 could fund one of our Crisis Desks for a year, ensuring we are able to support those missing and their families left behind 24/7 for an entire year.
Reaching vulnerable missing children and adults
£105,000 could fund our TextSafe service for over a year (14 months) - enabling us to proactively reach out for missing children via text when they are reported missing, giving them the tools to access the urgent support they need.
